I have a comfortably sized Dolby-approved and calibrated Atmos studio in the LA Sound complex in West London. Equipped with a 7.1.4 Genelec system, monitoring is very accurate and a 50" screen for viewing either accompanying video or keeping track of Atmos objects. Most of my work is Atmos versions of existing stereo mixes, I work tirelessly to ensure that the balance, feel and sound of the stereo mix is respected and reflected in the Atmos version. I know from my stereo mix work how much effort and detail goes into mixes so I do not, without invitation, reimagine or remix for Atmos - there should be no unpleasant surprises.
